When working with digital electronics it is extremely important to have a regulated power supply. Our 5 Volt Regulator kit uses an industry standard 7805 regulator to step down voltages ranging from 8 to 40 volts to 5 volts.
This kit is designed to be used in applications that require 5 volts with a maximum of 1 Amp draw.
This kit includes:
- PC Project Board
- Screw terminals for both input and output
- Input and output filter capacitors
- Power indicator LED with current limiting resistor
- All jumper wires for the project
- Detailed instructions on how to assemble the regulator
