When working with electronics it is extremely important to have a regulated power supply. Our 12 Volt Regulator kit uses an industry standard 7812 regulator to step down voltages ranging from 14 to 40 volts to 12 volts.
This kit is designed to be used in applications that require 12 volts with a maximum of 1 Amp draw.
This kit includes:

- Screw terminals for both input and output
- Input and output filter capacitors
- Power indicator LED with matched current limiting resistor
- All jumper wires for the project
- Detailed instructions on how to assemble the regulator
Our kit is perfect for students or hobbyists who want a standalone regulator. Also, since 0.1" pitch soldering is required, this kit is perfect for soldering classes, introductory electronics classes and personal practice.
